On Sunday afternoon, my sister Cheryl took me to Maki: a sushi restaurant which was surprisingly good! Each piece felt like flavor explosions like the 4th of July fireworks in my mouth!
At Maki, you build your own sushi. I got soft shell crab (which I thought was like clam). But when they put it on my sushi roll, I realized it was the WHOLE crab, legs and all! It was surprisingly good : )
I chose bean sprouts, carrots, and surprisingly flavorful strawberries to complement the crab. Of course, I had to use the traditional chop sticks to eat it with!
That afternoon, we visited with Isaac and Jessica and played UNO and other fun games!
